We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations at Canmore Siding Roofing. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient project management and maintaining high standards of quality in our siding and roofing services.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of all siding and roofing projects across the Bow Valley ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Coordinate job scheduling, crew assignments, material deliveries, and equipment use
Supervise installation teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure safety compliance and high-quality workmanship
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support team performance
Liaise with customers, Office Manager, and estimators to ensure a smooth client experience from project start to completion
Manage project documentation, permits, and safety records in accordance with provincial and local regulations
Ensure compliance with Alberta building codes, WCB requirements, and OH&S safety standards
Report directly to owner with regular updates on operations, staffing, and profitability

Requirements

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction operations, preferably in siding, roofing, or exterior renovations
Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code, WCB regulations, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)standards
Proven experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites simultaneously
Excellent skills in project coordination, scheduling, and budgeting
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage field teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, staff, and suppliers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and technical documents
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
Proficiency with construction management software, spreadsheets, and project tracking tools
